Meh, probably the new PvE only condition. Would be a bit pointless adding this to PvP, be a whole new condition to be abused and balanced.

Most likely a Pve monster only skills, being so powerful and all. So who cares?

Lol, I find it amusing how much of a stir that post caused. You know, the one with the list of all the "new" uber monster skills? And not once did anyone yet assume that they were not for monsters. Now I'm not saying that they were for players either. But did anyone out there ever use a cheat code in a video game for invincability or infinite ammo? Those codes are there so that the devs can test the game. Ever thing that maybe the "uber monster skills" are there for the Devs? Honestly, they're either there for the devs to test certain aspects of the game, or they put them in there to just mess with us. Because really, every one of those skill descriptions I read made me think, "If they put these in the game, and one monster has even 2 of these, the game will become impossible." Although, they are calling it "hard mode".....

The cracked armor thing is almost definately not a monster skill-related condition, nor is it PvE-only. It will most likely be an entirely new condition, period. Why would I say that? Well because it was in a few skill descriptions that were leaked from the ATS testing - normal class skills, not the monster skills.

Here's the link: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10140445

Here are the two skills that are known thus far that cause "Cracked Armor":

Shell Shock 10e 1c 10r - Spell. Target foe takes 10 damage and has Cracked Armor for 5 seconds. Air Magic
The skills appear to be universal (and not PvE-only), mainly because they appear PvP-balanced. There's nothing that screams "PvE-only". 99% sure this is a straight-up new condition.

here'ss a thought, how about it's a reverse Shield of absorbtion.

Cracked armour: during cracked armour, every hit lowers your armour by X (need to see what's balanced) cracked armour cannot lower your armour below X (60-30)

Jeez, that's like a guaranteed kill to anything unprotected.

that really depends on how much armour is lost per hit, if it's -1 every hit, it really needs a lot of hits to be threatening, not to mention it's only a condition

I believe its most likely just going to be a condition (like daze or bleeding) that for a period of time lowers your AL by lets say 10-20

Maybe we will see some old skills now cause it too - Weaken armor, Penetrating chop etc .. are all good candidates.

Uhhhhh no you werent. Read what I quoted. What does weaken armor skill have to do with moving 3,000% faster?

I was saying that using "cracked armor" over the weaken armor skill, is no different than using crippling over a water snare.

Woah...damn if even one of those skills belong to the Great Destroyer we're gonna have an intresting boss battle in GW:EN.

3000% faster? How's that gonna work? I mean are we just gonna see a streak of light? This skill would make a runners life much more fun.

Sounds like it has something to do with Asuras. They're supposed to be tech savvy as a race. Breaking/reparing armor sounds more technological than magic. Maybe the new skills originated in Asuraland.

I dont know about condition, because "conditions" as they are refer to some ailment to the flesh.

Cripple is like when you cant walk due to a slashed muscle ie.Hamstring

Blind is when you cant see due to over exposure to a bright light source ie. Blinding Flash

Disease is caused by microscopic pathogens who deteriorate the body at a cellular level. ie Rotting Flesh

Weakness is when the muscles cant work up to their potential due to lack of oxygen, extreme shock or other causes. ie. Enfeebling Blood

Burning is when the flesh is chemically changed due to intense thermal energy. ie. Immolate

Bleeding is when the body looses blood through torn veins or arteries. ie. Barbed Trap

Deep Wound is a wound that takes out a large chunk of flesh which makes healing difficult due to the missing mass. ie.Gash

Poison is when chemical toxins break down cells from within the body. ie. Poison Arrow.

Dazed is when the brain has had severe trauma due to a sudden movement of the head, resulting in the soft brain tissue moving past the cerebral spinal fluid and banging against the skull. ie. Golden Skull Strike

As you can see all conditions have something to do with the person themselves. Cracked armor certainly isnt a hex....but Im pretty sure it isnt a condition either. I guess we will have to wait and see.

some people love to speculate and discuss their speculations. why does it bother you that they do that? why are you wasting your time questioning their motives?

....omg...why am i wasting my time questioning why you would question their motives?????

i guess some people like to question what other people do.

....why am i still here?
